Your tracking is broken. You just don't know it yet.
TrackOwl watches real browsers 24/7 and tells you the exact moment GA4 or your conversion pixels stop recording, before it costs you a reporting cycle.

TrackOwl observes the entire chain
If any step drops a signal, you're the first to know.
The concept
GA4 is just a conveyor belt for events.
Every time someone views a page, signs up, or buys something, your site sends a tiny message, an event, to Google. GA4 counts those messages. That's where your reports come from.
Something happens on your site
A visitor adds to cart, a form submits, a video plays. Your site packages it as a named event like purchase or sign_up.
The event is sent to GA4
Google Tag Manager (GTM) fires the right tag with the right parameters (amount, currency, item IDs) and ships it to Google.
It becomes a number in a report
GA4 tallies the events, attributes them to a source, and shows up in your dashboards, Looker Studio, and ads platforms.
Conversion tracking, in one line
A conversion is just an event you've marked as valuable, like purchase or generate_lead. Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok use these same events to decide which campaigns to spend money on.
The problem
Tracking fails silently. Nobody notices until the invoice does.
GA4 doesn't know what it should have received, only what it did. If one tag stops firing, your reports keep running. Just with wrong numbers.
Tag stops firing
A developer renames an element ID. The GTM trigger no longer matches. Events quietly stop. Reports keep running. Just emptier.
Duplicate events
A GTM merge leaves two purchase tags on the same trigger. GA4 counts every sale twice. Google Ads overbids on winning campaigns.
Ad-blocker drops the pixel
30% of your users have uBlock Origin, Brave, or Safari ITP. GA4 and Meta Pixel are top of their blocklists. Nothing arrives for them.
Consent Mode blocks delivery
A visitor denies analytics cookies. Google Consent Mode downgrades the ping or drops it entirely, and your dashboard doesn’t say so.
Wrong currency or value
A pricing experiment ships in USD. Your Shopify integration sends INR. GA4 attributes revenue in the wrong currency. ROAS numbers lie.
HTTP 500 on delivery
Google Ads conversion endpoint returns a server error. GTM retries silently. You see no sign of it unless someone opens DevTools.
The quiet cost
If 5% of your purchase events don't fire for a week, Google Ads will optimise toward the wrong campaigns. You'll keep spending until someone compares GA4 to Shopify and spots the gap. That's often weeks.
What AI can't do
AI reads your reports. It can't watch your browser.
Modern AI tools are great at summarising GA4 after the fact. But they only see what already reached Google. Everything that didn't reach GA4 is invisible to them.
AI analytics assistants
What they see:
- Trends in events that did arrive
- Comparing periods, segments, funnels
- Writing SQL and natural-language queries
- Events that silently stopped firing
- HTTP 500s on the ads-platform endpoint
- A tag firing twice because of a GTM merge
- Consent Mode downgrading signals before send
- An ad-blocker that killed your pixel for 30% of users
TrackOwl, running in the browser
What we see:
- The dataLayer push the moment it happens
- The exact network call to GA4 / Google Ads / Meta / TikTok
- Per-vendor HTTP status, latency, response body
- Duplicate fires, missing parameters, wrong currency
- Consent Mode state at the time of the event
- Blocked requests from ad-blockers / privacy tools
- Which GTM tag & trigger produced the event
- Alert within seconds of a delivery regression
An AI assistant explains what's in your data. TrackOwl makes sure the data is correct in the first place. You usually want both. But only one of them catches a broken pixel at 2am.
How it works
Three steps. First evidence in minutes.
Install one monitor tag
Add it manually or let us publish it to your GTM container in one click. One tag per site. Nothing else to maintain.
We watch real browser traffic
TrackOwl inspects the dataLayer and every outbound request to GA4, Google Ads, Meta, Microsoft Ads, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Snapchat.
You get the alert, with evidence
Slack or email the moment delivery degrades. Each alert includes the raw event, the network call, the probable cause, and the fix.

Why Continuous Monitoring Is Non-Negotiable for E-commerce Tracking
Every broken pixel on an e-commerce site is lost revenue. Here is why one-time audits are not enough and how continuous monitoring protects your attribution, your ad spend, and your reporting.
Why Your GA4 and Meta Pixel Revenue Never Match (And How to Fix It)
GA4, Meta, and your checkout backend will never report identical revenue — but a growing or unexplained gap is a tracking defect, not a quirk. Here is how to tell the difference and diagnose the real cause.
